ARCHITECTURE OF CREATIVE
Context
For this self-initiated project, I explored how architecture and graphic design intersect to create a cohesive brand experience. I developed The Architecture of Creative | A Visual Set, an exhibition concept that highlights historically significant architects and designers through a unified visual system across print and digital touchpoints.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was managing a large amount of collateral, including posters, a 16-page catalog, a website, and event materials, while maintaining consistency across every piece. I also worked to find a balance between a professional and engaging visual identity, ensuring the designs felt dynamic without becoming overly complex.
Process
I began by developing a visual identity rooted in architectural principles, using grids, geometric forms, and subtle dimensionality to reflect the subject matter. I then applied this system across each deliverable, allowing for variation while maintaining consistency, such as blueprint-inspired poster layouts and a catalog that evolves page by page within a structured grid.
The final outcome is a cohesive and immersive design system that balances clarity, structure, and creativity while reinforcing the connection between architecture and graphic design across all touchpoints.
