WRANGLER SS28
Context
Designed graphic concepts for Wrangler's Spring/Summer 2028 collection by researching fashion and Western market trends. The goal was to create trend directions that felt current while staying true to Wrangler's heritage and customer.
Challenges
Balance modern fashion trends with Wrangler's Western identity.
Identify trends with long-term potential rather than short-lived fads.
Create distinct trend stories that still feel cohesive as one collection.
Follow Wrangler's brand standards, color palette, and production requirements.
Process
Researched Western retailers, fashion brands, and vintage graphics to identify emerging trends.
Created mood boards highlighting four key directions:
Handmade Feel
Y2K Western
Desert Pioneer
Elevated Cowboy
Applied insights such as distressed textures, vintage crackle, handmade artwork, bandana-inspired details, and premium embroidery into original concepts.
Designed mockups using Wrangler's Pantone colors and brand guidelines.
Organized project files within the company's system and presented the concepts to leadership.
