WRANGLER SS28

Context

Designed graphic concepts for Wrangler's Spring/Summer 2028 collection by researching fashion and Western market trends. The goal was to create trend directions that felt current while staying true to Wrangler's heritage and customer.

Challenges

  • Balance modern fashion trends with Wrangler's Western identity.

  • Identify trends with long-term potential rather than short-lived fads.

  • Create distinct trend stories that still feel cohesive as one collection.

  • Follow Wrangler's brand standards, color palette, and production requirements.

Process

  • Researched Western retailers, fashion brands, and vintage graphics to identify emerging trends.

  • Created mood boards highlighting four key directions:

    • Handmade Feel

    • Y2K Western

    • Desert Pioneer

    • Elevated Cowboy

  • Applied insights such as distressed textures, vintage crackle, handmade artwork, bandana-inspired details, and premium embroidery into original concepts.

  • Designed mockups using Wrangler's Pantone colors and brand guidelines.

  • Organized project files within the company's system and presented the concepts to leadership.
